A 5% astaxanthin-rich oleoresin derived from certified organic jojoba oil has been developed specifically for cosmetic formulations.
CERTIFIED ASTAXANTHIN FOR COSMETICS
Astaxanthin is able to completely enter the cell and shield it from all external influences because of its hydrophilic and lipophilic properties. It is mostly used to prevent aging. AstaCos® OL50, a natural cell protector, keeps the skin’s oxidative balance and protects it from damage caused by light.
COSMOS & NATRUE
In 2022, the product was awarded the “COSMOS CERTIFIED” again. In addition, we hold the NATRUE standard. This means that it meets the strictest criteria for natural cosmetics and is the world’s first astaxanthin-containing raw material officially approved for organic and natural cosmetics.
